Rotorua
Rotorua is situated in the northern foothills of the central North Island Volcanic Plateau and well-known for geothermal activity. We strolled along the shore of Lake Rotorua, relaxed pretty superbly in the Waikite Valley Thermal Pools and marvelled at Wai-O-Tapu Wonderland.
